RNDC Gains Jackson Family Wines In Illinois

April 17, 2025

Republic National Distributing Co. (RNDC) is expanding its partnership with California’s Jackson Family Wines (JFW) to the Illinois market. The two companies are already linked across Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, Maryland, New Mexico, Virginia, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Idaho, Washington D.C., Nebraska, Alaska, South Dakota, and North Dakota.

Jackson Family Wines has U.S. volume of approximately 6 million cases, while RNDC is the second-largest wholesaler of wine and spirits nationally with projected 2025 revenues of $11.4 billion, according to Shanken’s Impact Newsletter.

Effective May 1, RNDC will begin representing the JFW portfolio across the Illinois market—including popular brands like Kendall-Jackson and La Crema; estates such as Freemark Abbey and Hartford Court; luxury offerings like Vérité and Cardinale; and international properties like Tenuta di Arceno—with exclusivity beginning June 1.

Meanwhile, RNDC has promoted Kris Williams to senior vice president of national and strategic accounts (NASA), reporting directly to Taylor Sommer, chief sales and execution officer. A 25-year industry veteran, Williams was previously vice president of supplier business strategy.—Daniel Marsteller
