May 5, 2025•Teremana Tequila has kicked off the 2025 iteration of “Guac on the Rock,” the on-premise boosting marketing campaign that offers restaurant and bar patrons a free appetizer with the purchase of a Teremana cocktail. The program runs through May and offers a $10 reimbursement via Venmo for patrons who share their receipt with the brand. Teremana has pledged to spend up to $1 million reimbursing fans for choosing Teremana in the on-premise. Last year, the brand, founded by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, was up 10.5% 1.1 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank. Teremana is handled in the U.S. by Mast-Jägermeister.
•The Boston Beer Company has added a new, higher-abv lemonade-flavored seltzer to the Truly Unruly lineup. The 8% abv FMB comes in Bumpin’ Blue Razz, “OG” Original, Punched-Up Pineapple, and Wild Pink flavors, all available in the Truly Unruly Lemonade Mix Packs, with Bumpin’ Blue Razz also available in individual 24-ounce cans. The new additions to the Unruly lineup bring the total to eight 8% abv options, including the original Unruly offerings of Strawberry Smash, Tropical Twist, Berry Blast, and Citrus Crush.
•Su Casa Mezcal has entered the California market as it continues to expand nationally. With a Blanco retailing at $35-$39 and a Reposado around $50, Su Casa is debuting in the Golden State at the Gopuff-owned BevMo chain and select on-premise accounts. Other key retail chain partners nationally for Su Casa include Binny’s and Wegmans. Su Casa, led by Empire Merchants veteran Joey Angelo, has made fast inroads on-premise in New York (Empire), New Jersey (Fedway), and Florida (Breakthru), ranking among the top few mezcal brands on-premise in each state, according to the company.
