May 19, 2025

Santa Margherita USA, the U.S. subsidiary of Italy’s Herita Marzotto Wine Estates, will rebrand to Herita USA on June 1. The Santa Margherita brand has U.S. volume of 750,000 cases, according to Impact Databank. It’s the third-ranked Italian table wine in the U.S. by retail value at $257 million, and the sixth-largest player among imported table wines overall.

In addition to the flagship brand, the Herita USA stable includes Torresella, Ca’ del Bosco, Masi, Roco, Kettmeir, Lamole di Lamole, Sassoregale, Sella Antica, Fattoria Sardi, Cà Maiol, Giovanni Rosso, and Cantina Mesa, covering offerings from the Veneto, Alto Adige, Franciacorta, Lugana, Tuscany, Sardinia, and Piedmont in Italy, as well as Roco from Willamette Valley, Oregon. SND recently caught up with Herita USA CEO Vincent Chiaramonte.
