•Luxury-focused independent bottler World Whiskey Society has announced a new 20-year-old light whisky, Cigar Blend Gothic Edition. The 48% abv whiskey is blended from light whiskey finished in Cognac, Tawny Port, Awamori, Tequila, PX Sherry, and Madeira casks. World Whiskey Society Cigar Blend Gothic Edition carries a suggested price of $169 and is now available through the bottler’s website and in select retailers across the U.S.

•Diageo has expanded Smirnoff vodka with a new offering, Electric Guava. The 25% abv drink is made with guava and ginger flavorings. It carries a suggested price of $13 a 750-ml. and between $1 and $1.25 for a 50-ml. Smirnoff Electric Guava is available across the U.S. Last year, Smirnoff was down 6% to just under 8 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.
