Garavogue 20 year old Irish single malt is the first expression from Sazerac-owned Hawk’s Rock. Double-distilled and matured for 14 years in Bourbon barrels, it then spent an additional 6 years in an eclectic array of finishing casks, including French muscat, sauternes, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and Barbadian rum before being blended. The 94-proof expression will hit four markets, including the U.S., in early June, at a suggested retail price of $199. Whisky Advocate has more.

•Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits has announced Redemption 18-Year-Old Bourbon, the latest entrant in the brand’s Ancients Series. The whiskey was distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and is bottled at 51.7% abv. The barrels for the limited release were selected by the brand’s master blender Alan Kennedy. Redemption 18-Year-Old Bourbon carries a suggested price of $400 a 750-ml. and is available through ReserveBar and in select retailers across the U.S. Redemption has estimated U.S. volume of 100,000 cases, according to Impact Databank.

•Healdsburg, California’s Dry Creek Vineyard has released SeaQuelle, a new Bordeaux-inspired Meritage blend. The wine is made in the Right Bank style, and is blended from 63% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, and 4% Petit Verdot that aged for 17 months in French and Hungarian oak (with 31% new). SeaQuelle is rolling out now and carries a suggested price of $55.
