  • Rémy Cointreau has extended the partnership between Cointreau and actress Aubrey Plaza, releasing a new evolution of last year’s “MargaRight” campaign. This year’s iteration, “Any Tequila,” aims to highlight Cointreau as the key ingredient in the Margarita by creating Plaza’s fictional Tequila brand “Any Tequila.” The campaign will run in digital and social channels and features both paid and organic media spots. Last year, Cointreau was up 0.2% to 469,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.
  • Gallo’s Horse Soldier Bourbon has announced a new limited edition celebrating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. The 10-year-old Bourbon is bottled at 50% abv and is made from a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye, and 10% barley. The release carries a suggested price of $150 and is now available on select military bases and through the brand’s website. In addition to the commemorative army bottling, Horse Solider will honor the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps with limited editions in October and November.
