•Diageo has launched “Being This Likeable Isn’t Easy,” a new ad campaign for single malt Scotch brand Oban. The campaign is centered around a video ad created by Uncommon Creative Studio and directed by Tom Speers of production agency Smuggler. It depicts the journey of a glass of Oban from the distillery manager’s hands to a new Scotch drinker across Scotland. The new campaign will run on social media, digital platforms, and print and online publications.

•On June 12, California-based winemaker Joe Wagner—most famous for starting the Meiomi brand and then selling it for $315 million—sold his popular Oregon wine brand Elouan to the Stoller Wine Group for an undisclosed sum. The deal includes the brand, current inventory and bulk wine but no vineyards or winemaking facilities. Wine Spectator takes a look at what the deal means.

Remus Bourbon, part of the MGP-owned Luxco portfolio, is bringing back its limited Babe Ruth Reserve bottling. Paying tribute to the legendary baseball player, the new entry is debuting in a limited supply of 8,399 bottles, one for each of the Babe’s at-bats, and will arrive retail this month at a minimum suggested price of $150 a 750-ml. bottle. The 2025 edition of Remus Babe Ruth Reserve (55.5% abv) is a blend of three high-rye Bourbon mash bills, which include barrels distilled in 2016 and 2017, comprising 44% rye, 49% rye and 36% rye Bourbons, respectively.
