Reyes To Distribute Four Roses In California, Along With Other Kirin Spirits And Beers

Reyes Beverage Group has inked a new deal to distribute Kirin-owned spirits and beers in California, including Four Roses Bourbon, Fuji whisky, and other brands. Kirin’s beer portfolio includes New Belgium Brewing, Bell’s Brewery, and Kirin Ichiban, and Reyes also recently took on distribution of those labels in markets including Hawaii, Chicago, Florida, Washington, D.C., and Indiana.

Kirin-owned Four Roses ranked 13th by volume among Bourbon brands in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank, with depletions of 425,000 cases. Kirin’s Fuji whisky, a newer entrant to the U.S., earned a spot among Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 Whiskies of 2023.

Reyes is also adding Hawaii’s Kōloa Rum Company to its Golden State portfolio. Kōloa produces rums and bottled rum cocktails including Kauai White, Gold, Dark, Spice, Coconut, Cane Fire, and more. The distiller’s cocktail portfolio includes Hawaiian Mai Tai and Rum Punch, among others.

These additions follow a bevy of new suppliers onboarded by Reyes in California in recent months, including Tito’s, Brown-Forman, William Grant, and Gallo’s commercial spirits and wine brands, as well as Branca USA and Lalo Spirits.—Daniel Marsteller
