•Diageo has added a new Bulleit-based Whiskey Sour to the Cocktail Collection, the company’s group of spirits-based ready-to-serve drinks. The new cocktail is at 25% abv, combines Bulleit whiskey with lemon and honey, and is meant to be served over ice with an orange slice and a cherry. The release is available in both 375- and 750-ml. bottles, with the smaller size carrying a suggested price of $14 and the larger at $26. This is the eighth release in the Cocktail Collection and is debuting nationally. Last year, Bulleit was at 1.65 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

The special cans will be available in their respective MLB ballparks and in select retailers in the surrounding region in both 12-ounce and 700-ml. varieties. In addition, Stateside Brands has secured the naming rights to Xfinity Live!, the multi-bar venue located in South Philadelphia’s sports complex. Terms of the deal were not disclosed but, beginning this fall, the venue will be named Stateside Live! •Wine Institute president and CEO Robert P. “Bobby” Koch will retire at the end of 2025, after 22 years in his current role and 33 years with the trade group representing U.S. wine producers. During his tenure, Koch is credited with helping to expand direct-to-consumer wine shipping to 48 states and the District of Columbia, increasing U.S. exports with dedicated marketing programs in more than 40 countries, and furthering sustainable agriculture by creating the Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW) program. 90% of California wine is now made in a certified winery and 45% of California winegrape acreage is certified to the program.
