September 5, 2025Heaven Hill has launched Master Distillers Unity, a new whiskey celebrating the opening of Heaven Hill Springs, the company’s new distillery. The release blends 14-year-old, 8-year-old, and 6-year-old Bourbon distilled at Bernheim by Parker Beam, Denny Potter, and Conor O’Driscoll, with 34-year-old Bourbon drawn from the last remaining barrel distilled by Parker Beam at the Old Heaven Hill Springs Distillery in 1991. The whiskey is bottled at 53.5% abv (the original barrel-entry proof at the old distillery) and carries a suggested price of $225. Roughly 4,000 bottles of Master Distillers Unity will be available.
Miami-based Luxury Spirits International (LSI) has announced Flor de Caña 17 Year, a new luxury-positioned rum, set to arrive at retail this month. The rum is bottled at 43.5% abv and aged in American oak barrels. The release is limited to 1,500 cases in the U.S., with availability in select retailers, including 100-plus Total Wine stores. Last year, Flor de Caña was up 5.5% to 190,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank. LSI’s portfolio also includes Camus Cognac, De Nada Tequila, Los Javis mezcal, and Locals Only vodka.
Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has named Steve Bronson as chief information officer. Bronson will report to David Chaplin, SGWS’s chief growth and strategy officer. Bronson joins Southern from McDonald’s, where he most recently served as senior vice president of global technology infrastructure and operations. Additionally, Bronson has held leadership positions at CDK Global, Nike, and Anheuser-Busch InBev. At SGWS, Bronson will be part of the OneTech team and says he plans to help the distributor “unlock new capabilities that will strengthen operations, elevate customer experiences, and drive sustainable growth.”
