•Brown-Forman has released a new limited edition rye from Woodford Reserve. The whiskey, Barrel Strength Rye, is bottled at 62.55% abv and distilled from a mash of 53% rye, just like the brand’s widely available rye. The whiskey carries a suggested price of $130 a 700-ml. and is available in limited quantities nationwide, as well as at the brand’s distillery. Last year, Woodford Reserve was at 1.47 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•Disaronno International USA’s Sagamore Spirit has announced High Rye Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the latest in the brand’s limited Reserve Series. The whiskey—the first high rye Bourbon from the distillery—is made from a mash of 60% corn, 25% rye, and 15% malted rye, and bottled at 59% abv after aging for six years. The new release carries a suggested price of $49 and is rolling out now to select retailers in Maryland.
