Cannabis Briefs for October 7, 2025

October 7, 2025

•South Carolina’s Rebel Rabbit has expanded into THC-infused teas, with Tea-HC. The new release is lemon-flavored sweet tea infused with 10mg of THC. Currently, Tea-HC is offered through the company’s Lab Rabbit program, where new formulations and flavors are available exclusively through the brand’s website with customer feedback encouraged. If successful, Rebel Rabbit could expand Tea-HC to retail distribution. Tea-HC sells for $80 a 12-pack and $130 a 24-pack of 12-ounce cans.

•Multistate operator TerrAscend has exited the Michigan market, selling three retail locations to Lume, the state’s largest cannabis operator. The move divests TerrAscend from Pinnace Emporium in Morenci, Grand Rapids’ Gage location, and Lemonade in Center Line. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The move brings Lume to 42 locations across the state. TerrAscend chose to exit the market citing difficulties in operations and a desire to focus on core markets in the Northeast like New Jersey, Ohio, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
