  • Proximo Spirits has released new higher-proof bottlings for 1800 Tequila’s Blanco and Reposado expressions.The pair are at 45% abv—up from 40% for the flagship bottlings—and are exclusively available in 375-ml. bottles. 1800 High Proof Blanco carries a suggested retail price of $19, with the Reposado selling for $20; both are available nationwide. Last year, 1800 was at just over two million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.
  • Louisville, Kentucky-based Michter’s has announced the 2025 edition of 20 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon, rolling out in extremely limited quantities beginning December 1. The Bourbon is bottled at 57.1% abv and blended from barrels selected by Andrea Wilson, Michter’s master of maturation. Michter’s 20 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon carries a suggested price of $1,200.
  • Constellation Brands’ Modelo has announced Noche Especial, a new limited edition amber lager celebrating Christmas Eve traditions in hispanic communities around the world. The beer is at 5.7% abv and, according to the company, has “a toasted, caramel malt flavor.” The limited edition is now available across the U.S. in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles. Modelo Especial is the second-largest beer in the U.S. market n volume terms after Bud Light at 15.2 million barrels, according to Impact Databank.
