•Pernod Ricard’s Mumm Napa has partnered with guitarist Carlos Santana to release a new sparkling wine—Mumm Napa Supernatural Rose. The limited release, which is named after Santana’s Grammy Award-winning album, is a 2006 vintage made with a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Napa Valley. Rolling out this week, Supernatural Rose will be available at the Mumm Napa Winery and online, priced at $65 a bottle. A portion of the label’s proceeds will benefit Santana’s youth-focused non-profit organization, the Milagro Foundation. Supernatural Rose marks the second collaboration between Mumm Napa and Santana, following 2005’s launch of the 1999 Mumm Napa Santana DVX sparkling wine.

•Midori melon liqueur has linked with celebrity stylist George Kotsiopoulos for a new marketing campaign. During the collaboration, Kotsiopoulos will serve as the brand’s “style ambassador” and stylist for Midori’s newest “Happy Hour” ad campaign, featuring actress Candice Accola as the face of the brand. Additionally, Kotsiopoulos will be the voice of Midori in all social media activations tied to the Happy Hour platform, engaging with consumers on style tips and trends. The launch of the campaign comes on the heels of the introduction of new packaging for Midori, including a frosted finish and “more premium, contemporary design.” The brand is distributed by Campari America in the U.S.

•New Rochelle, New York-based Olé Imports is launching a new rosé wine, Liquid Geography, to the U.S. market. The wine will be available at retail stores in select states across the country, priced at $12 a 750-ml. Liquid Geography is a Provence-style rosé made from 20-25 year old vines located in the high elevation region of Bullas in the Southeast of Spain. All proceeds from the limited first release will be donated to the T.J. Martell Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds for innovative cancer research programs across the country. Founded in 1999 by Patrick Mata and Alberto Orte, Olé Imports now has a portfolio that includes more than 100 Spanish wines.

•Diageo group strategy director Jim Grover will retire on September 30, to be replaced by the company’s current finance director, Asia Pacific, Anna Manz. Manz will also replace Grover on Diageo’s executive committee, where he’s served since 1997. Manz joined Diageo in 1999. Prior to becoming finance director, Asia Pacific, she held various roles including vice president, finance, Diageo North America; and group treasurer.
