Craft Brewing And Distilling News for July 29, 2013

•Atlanta’s SweetWater Brewing is set to move into the Louisiana market beginning August 19. SweetWater has partnered with Southern Eagle Distributing in New Orleans, Champagne Beverage Company in North Shore/Covington and Mockler Beverage Co. in Baton Rouge. The rollout into the new market will begin with its 420 Extra Pale Ale on draft, as well as six-packs and 12-packs of variety bottles, featuring 420 Extra Pale Ale, SweetWater Blue, SweetWater IPA and SweetWater Tackle Box. The news follows closely on the heels of the announcement from the brewer that it would expand distribution into Kentucky through Kentucky Eagle Distributors. Louisiana is the eighth state to carry SweetWater’s brews.
